Meet Melissa Bean, your Western Sydney Thermomix® consultant
Hi, I'm Mel. I'm the Thermomix® consultant and team leader behind Mel Beans, based in Wallacia and working with customers across Western Sydney, the Blue Mountains and beyond, plus online wherever you happen to be.
I don't just want to sell you a Thermomix®. I want to be the person who helps you actually learn it, use it, enjoy it, and get more out of it than you expected.
MY STORY
The Melissa Bean story:
how I became a Thermomix consultant
I joined Thermomix in 2013 for a pretty simple reason: I wanted someone to teach me how to get more out of my Thermomix.
I had two young children at home, I loved my Thermomix, but I knew I wasn't using it anywhere near as much as I could. I looked for local classes and couldn't find anyone to help, so I thought, I'll join and they'll teach me!
What I didn't expect was how much more I'd find.
Before children, I worked in the corporate world. I loved being a mum, but I also wanted something that was mine. Thermomix gave me that. It gave me new people, new things to learn, a business I could build around my family and, eventually, friendships and opportunities I never imagined.
Thirteen years and more than 700 Thermomix® machines later, I'm still here!
And these days, what I love most is helping other people get more from their Thermomix.
I love that moment when someone goes from "I'm not sure I can do this" to "Oh! I can actually do this!"
So whether you're brand new to Thermomix or you've had yours for years, that's really why I'm here.

Local to Western Sydney & the Blue Mountains
WHERE I WORK
Home is Wallacia, right between Penrith and the Blue Mountains, so most of my demos and classes are in that patch: Penrith, Glenmore Park, St Clair, Emu Plains, Glenbrook, Springwood and surrounds.
I'm regularly across the rest of Western Sydney too, and I have customers all over Greater Sydney and up in the Hunter. If you're further afield, online demos and support work anywhere in Australia. You'll also find me at my stall at the Glenbrook Rotary Markets on the first and third Saturday of each month.
NEPEANMIXERS
Support, not just recruiting
I also lead Nepean Mixers, a team of Thermomix® consultants across the area. For me, leadership means support and development, not recruiting people and leaving them to figure it out. That looks like proper onboarding, training, coaching and regular team catch-ups.
